There are all kinds of businesses that I don’t understand, but that doesn’t cause me to stay up at night. It just means I go on to the next one, and that’s what the individual investor should do.
   
Wide diversification is only required when investors do not understand what they are doing.  Why not invest your assets in the companies you really like? As Mae West said, “Too much of a good thing can be wonderful”.
