The College for Financial Planning awards the CRPS designation to students who successfully complete the program, pass the final examination, sign a code of ethics commitment, and fill out a declaration form. Students must sign and return the ethics and declaration forms within six months of passing the final exam. Disclosures made on the declaration form are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and, depending on the nature of the disclosure, may impact a student’s eligibility to be awarded the designation. Successful students receive a certificate, and are granted the right to use the designation on correspondence and business cards.
